Prayer for Families - Day 4
We thank God for Day 4 of this 7 day prayer and fasting for our families and for the nation of Iran. We will meet on Zoom every evening at 7:30 pm to pray together. Please fast as you have the strength. May God show us mercy and hear us as we pray, not just for our own families, but for the families around us and for the nation of Iran.
Bible Reading
“Moses took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought the Lord went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp. So it was, whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and watched Moses until he had gone into the tabernacle. And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door. So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.”
Exodus 33:7-11 NKJV
Prayer Points
Let us pray that every family home would be a place of worship. That as we worship God, many others would also be inspired to know the God that we serve.
Let us pray that every member of our family would have a personal relationship with God, just as a man would speak to his friend.
Let us pray that just as Joshua stayed back when Moses left, even when we have passed away, our children will continue to follow God.
Let us pray that God would stand like a pillar of cloud outside the door of each family, to protect each member of our families. Let us pray that God would protect us from all sickness, distractions and any harm against us.
Let us pray that God would separate us and our children, far from the uncleanness of this world. That we would be ready and available for the special purpose that God has for each of us.
